Below is a list of funds in our database that describe themselves as ‘sustainable’.
We have not verified that the funds meet any sustainability criteria, so please be aware that it is possible that some of the funds might be partaking in a bit of greenwashing by labelling themselves as ‘sustainable’ or similar.
To check for yourself that the investment holdings would be considered sustainable – or meet your personal definition of sustainable – navigate to the fund’s webpage and look for the annual or interim/half-year report, which every fund is obliged to produce. In those documents you will find a complete list of holdings that the fund held on the specified publication date of the report.
At Green Finance Guide we are currently building a search tool, which will speed up the process of displaying a fund’s investment portfolio. But for the time being feel free to take a look at the ‘sustainable funds’ below…

Conclusion
Above is a list of funds from our database which described themselves as ‘sustainable’. However, as we have discussed just because they are called sustainable does not mean that you will necessarily view them as so.
The only real way of seeing if the above are truly sustainable investments is to investigate their underlying holdings or portfolio of investments. This is no easy task but something Green Finance Guide will help with in the future.
